Niclas Rockborn has an extensive practice in financial services law with emphasis in investment funds law, private equity, derivatives and financial regulation.
Within the practice of investment funds, Niclas Rockborn is an adviser to leading Swedish and international fund managers. The practice covers fund formation - including on shore and off shore establishments, cross-border notifications and licensing, sale and marketing issues, outsourcing and regulatory. Niclas Rockborn has also assisted a client in connection with its representation in the UK Hedge Fund Working Group.
Within the practice of private equity, Niclas Rockborn is an adviser to Swedish fund managers and major Swedish fund investors. The practice covers fund formation, fund investments and fund restructurings, including recycling schemes.
Niclas Rockborn is a regular adviser to a number of banks and fund managers in relation to derivatives and other financial instruments. Niclas Rockborn advises on cross-border derivativesdocumentation (ISDA), master agreement cross-border repo-documentation (PSA-ISMA, GMRA) and securities lending documentation (OSLA, GMSLA), particularly giving advise in relation to complex bespoke confirmations documenting transactions entered into under the standard documentation.
